I developed numerous essential skills necessary for a public health worker, while my fieldwork experience at ACQC. They are good people to work with, they are very helpful in nature. ACQC ambiance is productive, that helps you to enhance the experience.

Great place for new graduates to add one to two years of experience to their resumes. After that, leave as fast as you can. Barely any room for growth. No support or incentives to advance your career. Team members seem to be more interested in gossiping than the actual work. Most of the time, no one knows what they’re doing – not even the managers. Promotions are mainly based on favoritism.

I love what I do here, the population we serve, and the support I get from my department. The pay is average, but there are generous bonuses and yearly raises. Excellent opportunity to learn, as there are always trainings and management is super accommodating. The office environment is like a family.

Morale is very bad as a result of poor leadership & senior administration. High turnover. Raises and promotions given to “friends” of those in charge. People who know what they are doing are not rewarded and eventually leave. If you are just starting out and need some experience then it’s ok but don’t stay longer than year, move on to better place with better management.
