Simply set the hearing aids in their charger station at night and wake up to fully-charged hearing aids that should last all day. For wearers with dexterity issues, rechargeable devices are a huge help.

Environmentally friendly

It is estimated that about 1.4 billion disposable batteries go into landfills each year. A single rechargeable battery essentially replaces hundreds of single-use batteries, preventing a great deal of environmental contamination.

• Wearing them in certain situations: In certain situations, your hearing aid is more likely to meet moisture, which could damage it. Its better to remove them for swimming or washing. Heat can also be potentially damaging. Take out your hearing aids to dry and style your hair.
• Dropping them on a hard surface: Nobody is perfect, and we can all be a little clumsy at times. Dropping your hearing aid on a hard surface could damage it, however, so its a good idea to sit down while you insert or remove them to be safe.

A Comfortable And Natural Sound In Everyday Environments

Its all well and good a hearing aid having some cool Apps and snazzy features, the real proof of the pudding is how well you can hear as you go about your daily life.

The first thing I will say about the GN Quattro is: Ive worn a lot of hearing aids over the years, fitted by a lot of different people and this is the only time that I have ever been completely happy with the hearing aid after the first fitting! Usually I go back to see the hearing aid professional a number of times to get things tweaked and tuned until I am happy with the sound with the Quattro everything is right the first time, which I think is actually a big win for ReSound and us patients as people are used to things just working these days, you dont expect to have to fine-tune your TV after buying it, you turn it on and it is ready to go: I got my Quattros fitted by Kate Ogden and they were just ready to go. A hearing aid that fits behind the ear has microphones that are positioned in the hearing aid housing behind the ear. We also see that on average hearing aids are worn for over eight hours per day and these materials are not breathable so removing them at night when you go to sleep allows the skin to breathe and rest and for ear wax to gradually migrate out of the ear.

Learn how to stop streaming from your phone to your hearing aids.

Streaming calls and music, podcasts or videos from your smartphone is one of the great features of our wireless hearing aids. But for those times you dont want to stream or just want to turn it off temporarily you can turn streaming off one of two ways:

• Go to Settings on your iPhone
• Tap Accessibility
• Tap on MFI Hearing Devices
• Toggle off Stream to right hearing device
• Toggle off Stream to left hearing device

Either of these will stop streaming to your hearing aids until you toggle them back on.

*This option compatible only with iPhones.

The process to pair an Android device is pretty simple, you need to know where to look to do it. Usually, the app that accompanies the hearing aids will have clear instructions at the first run. While you won’t be able to stream audio from your Android device yet, pairing the hearing aids is still beneficial. It will allow you to use the accompanying app and will give you better control over your hearing aids.

Wireless Streaming And/or Phone Calls On An Android Device

Before doing anything else, try restarting your phone. If that doesnt work, delete the Resound Smart/ Smart 3D app from your phone and re-download it.

Then, reconnect your hearing aids to the app. If all of those things have still not solved the problem, there are two main ways to fix it:

Option 1

• Go to the Resound App and click on MORE.
• Turn Demo Mode on, then turn it off.
• The app will then search for the hearing aids.
• Next, you will need to restart your hearing aids.
• Battery: Remove the battery and then re-insert.
• Rechargeable: Remove the hearing aid from the charger and then put it back.
• Wait for your hearing aids to pair and then click continue.

Option 2

• Go to your Resound App.
• Your phone should find the hearing aids, and then an icon saying Found Hearing Aids will show up.
• Next, you will need to restart your hearing aid.
• Battery: Remove the battery and then re-insert.
• Rechargeable: Remove the hearing aid from the charger and then put it back.
• Wait for pairing, and then click continue.
